Virat Kohli Shines Bright With 76th Century, Cricket Fraternity & Fans Outpour Praises

The Indian cricket fans are very happy as their favourite cricketer Virat Kohli scored his 29^th test hundred in the second test match against West Indies which is currently being played at the Queen’s Oval Park, Port of Spain.

It won’t be wrong to say that Virat Kohli was a little unlucky as he missed the chance of scoring his century in the first test match since he got out at the score of 76 in India’s first innings but this time, he played very cautiously which could be understood by the fact that he played 206 balls for his innings of 121 runs. Moreover, he smashed only 11 fours in his innings and there was not even a single six.

However, this innings is definitely special as it is the 500^th international match which Virat Kohli is playing for India and it is also the 100^th test match between India and West Indies. Moreover with this, Virat Kohli also levels with the test centuries of legendary Don Bradman.  One more thing which makes this century special is the fact that it is Virat’s first in five years in a foreign location.

Soon Twitter was flooded with reactions which were full of praises for the former skipper of the Indian cricket team. While former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer called him a shining ornament, some called it the return of the king.

India has scored 438 runs in their first innings and in response, West Indies put up 86/1 on the scoreboard in their first innings.
