As the title itself suggests, the movie revolves around a woman working in a magazine who is looking for quality content for her next column and is experimenting in real life with a man by torturing him through ways that will ensure that he breaks up with her in 10 days. On the contrary, the man she chose also has a deal where he promises to prove that he can make any girl fall in love with him. Amidst all the chaos, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days shows how Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey’s characters fall for each other. 

4. 500 Days of Summer

Away from the conventional romantic comedies, 500 Days of Summer can be confusing and problematic but surely hits home for all those who have encountered some awful breakups in their lives. The movie is real and raw- which makes it a refreshing watch and even though it came out back in 2009, it stands the test of time and is still relatable.

It shows how Margaret let go of her fear of being in love while not leaving her ambitious side as well. 

6. Me Before You

Based on the book of the same name, and featuring the beautiful Emily Clarke alongside a charming Sam Claffin, it follows the uncommon love story of a physically challenged man and his caretaker who fall for each other amidst all the obstacles.
