The year 2023 was a good year for the Indian cinema especially for Bollywood as many movies performed pretty well at the box-office and a couple of big actors such as Shah Rukh Khan and Sunny Deol also made a comeback in a big manner.
While Shah Rukh Khan gave three hit movies – Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki, the action hero Sunny Deol mesmerized audiences with his performance in the sequel of Gadar.
The Indian A-listers charge a huge amount as fees for a movie; recently Forbes magazine compiled a list of the highest paid actors of Bollywood and surprisingly Amitabh Bachchan was not in the list of top 10 highest paid actors of 2024.
The King of Romance turned into action hero this year and he also emerged as the highest paid actor of the industry. Yes, we are talking about Shah Rukh Khan and as per the list, SRK charges Rs. 150 crores to Rs. 250 crores for one movie.
The second spot has been taken by the Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth who charges between Rs. 150 crores and Rs. 210 crores for one movie and the third spot is also attained by a Tamil actor, Thalapathy Vijay who charges Rs. 130 crores to Rs. 200 crores.
The Baahubali fame actor Prabhas is on the fourth spot as his remuneration is between Rs. 100 crores and Rs. 200 crores. The Perfectionist of Bollywood, Aamir Khan comes at the fifth position because he charges Rs. 100 crores to Rs. 175 crores and the third Khan of Bollywood, Salman Khan is at the sixth position with per movie fee from Rs. 100 crores to Rs. 150 crores.
The senior actor Kamal Haasan who mainly works in Tamil cinema but has worked in Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Bengali and Malayalam movies as well, has attained the seventh position in the list as his fees for one project is between Rs. 100 crores and Rs. 150 crores.
The Pushpa fame actor Allu Arjun who is currently busy with Pushpa 2 is at the 8th position with his fee between Rs. 100 crores and Rs. 125 crores for one project. The Khiladi Kumar of Bollywood aka Akshay Kumar is certainly going through a lean phase as he has given back to back flops at the box-office but still he charges something between Rs. 60 crores and 145 crores for a movie which brings him at the 9th position.
The 10th position is taken by Tamil actor Ajith Kumar who charges around Rs. 105 crores for one movie.
Well, this shows that you can earn huge in the film industry provided you are able to prove your worth.
