For The First Time, Shatrughan Sinha Breaks Silence On Daughter Sonakshi Sinha’s Marriage
Sonakshi Sinha, the famous actress and daughter of the senior actor Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha got married to her longtime boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal yesterday and after their civil marriage, the couple threw a grand reception at Bastian, Dadar which was graced by a good number of Bollywood celebs.
Sonakshi Sinha is getting trolled a lot because of her inter-faith marriage and for the same, the couple has disabled comments in their Instagram accounts.
Though Sonakshi’s parents attended the marriage and reception, it was earlier reported that they both especially Shatrughan was not happy with the marriage and various reports suggested that Sonakshi’s twin brothers, Luv and Kush haven’t attended the wedding and the reception as well.
When actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha was asked how he is feeling on his daughter’s wedding, he said what is there to ask, every father wants his daughter to marry a groom of her choice and his daughter looks the most happy with Zaheer, God bless them both.
He further said that 44 yrs ago, he got married to a very successful, very beautiful and very talented girl of his choice, i.e., Poonam Sinha and now it is his daughter’s chance to get married to the guy of her choice.
After their wedding, Sonakshi and Zaheer made a post on their Instagram account, they posted a photo of themselves with the caption, “On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each other’s eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife. Here’s to love, hope and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever, Sonakshi Zaheer 23.06.2024”.
