Some time back, we got you acquainted with the shocking incident in which a piece of human flesh (finger) was found inside an ice-cream cone and now the police has suspected that the finger could be of an injured factory worker. As per the report, the DNA sample of the factory worker has been sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory in order to find the truth.

Few days back, 26 yrs old Brendon Ferrao who is a doctor by profession and is a resident of Malad, Mumbai ate a butter-scotch ice-cream cone of Yummo company which was ordered online by his sister. While eating the ice-cream cone, Brendon found a piece of human flesh with a nail in the ice-cream, he immediately made a complaint to the company on their Instagram page but there was no response from the company.

After not getting any response, he kept the piece of human flesh in the ice-bag and went to Malad police station where a complaint was filed against the company and based on this complaint, the ice-cream company was booked under various sections of the IPC – sections 272 (adulteration of food or drink intended for sale), 273 (sale of noxious food and drink), and 336 (act endangering life or personal safety of others).

While talking to mediapersons, Brendon said that while eating the ice-cream, the finger went inside his mouth, initially he thought that it was a nut but then he felt that something was wrong and he took it out of the mouth and it was really shocking for him. Brendon further said that being a doctor, he had a good idea of human body so he easily figured out that it is a piece of human thumb.

A police official stated that the piece of human flesh with a nail measured around one-and-a-half centimeters.

The license of the Pune-based ice-cream factory has been suspended by Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) till the investigation is going on.
