Earlier, Bengaluru had struggled at 125/7 in the 14th over but recovered well to post a competitive total of 202. However, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi made the chase look easy. He smashed 78 runs off just 26 balls, including seven sixes and eight boundaries, reaching his half-century in only 15 balls for the second time this season. His strike rate of 300 showed his complete dominance.
He started aggressively, adding 70 runs in a 108-run partnership off just 37 balls with Dhruv Jurel. Rajasthan raced to 97/1 in the powerplay, their best this season. Bengaluru tried to fight back by bringing in experienced bowlers like Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar but the teenager attacked them fearlessly. He scored his first runs by squeezing a yorker from Bhuvneshwar Kumar for a boundary and welcomed Josh Hazlewood with a six. In one over, he smashed Josh Hazlewood for 4, 4, 4, and 6.

Dhruv Jurel was full of praise, saying they could hardly believe such hitting and called him a great talent. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi later shared that he focuses only on the ball, not the bowler, and follows advice from his father and coaches to stay focused on his process.
By the time he was caught at long-on with the score at 129/2 in the ninth over, the match was almost over. Dhruv Jurel remained unbeaten on 81 off 43 balls, hitting three sixes and eight boundaries, and along with Ravindra Jadeja, finished the chase at 202/4, giving RR a six-wicket win with two overs to spare.
Rajasthan Royals stayed on top of the table with four wins in four matches, while Royal Challengers Bengaluru slipped to third place after the defeat.
