Raj Kundra Issues Strong Statement Amid Legal Cases, “Enough, I Want The Truth….”

Businessman Raj Kundra, known for his entrepreneurial ventures and high-profile marriage to Shilpa Shetty, has often found himself in the spotlight. Over the years, he has faced controversies but this time, he is dealing with serious legal trouble and intense public scrutiny.

On Tuesday, Raj Kundra finally broke his silence amid the ongoing situation. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), he shared a strong message, saying he has remained patient despite media trials, speculation and trolling. At the same time, he demanded a fair and final verdict.

“Justice delayed is justice denied. I’ve stayed silent, I’ve respected the system, and endured media trials, speculation & trolling. Enough!! I want the truth through a fair and final verdict. If found guilty by a court of law, I will face every consequence. Until then, I will not be judged by noise, only by justice. Raj Kundra,” he wrote.

His statement comes at a time when he is making headlines for an alleged ₹60 crore fraud case. In August 2025, Raj Kundra and his wife Shilpa Shetty were booked by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) for allegedly cheating a Mumbai-based businessman of ₹60.4 crore in a loan-cum-investment deal. An unidentified third person was also charged in the case.

The complainant, Deepak Kothari, has accused the couple of defrauding him of over ₹60 crore. The case involves Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty’s now-defunct company, Best Deal TV Pvt Ltd. According to Deepak Kothari, he invested the money between 2015 and 2023, believing it would be used to expand a business. However, he has alleged that the funds were misused for personal expenses.

The Economic Offences Wing is currently investigating the matter. Let’s see how things unfold in time to come.
