Brother Of Asha Bhosle & Lata Mangeshkar Announces Asia’s Biggest Hospital As Tribute To Them

In a deeply emotional turn of events, the Mangeshkar family has announced a massive tribute to two of India’s most iconic voices – Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle. Their brother Hridaynath Mangeshkar revealed plans to build what could become Asia’s largest hospital in their memory.

Initially, the project was meant to honour Lata Mangeshkar alone. However, following the p@ssing of Asha Bhosle just days before the planned inauguration on April 16, the family decided to dedicate the hospital to both sisters. This change reflects the inseparable bond and shared legacy of the two legendary singers.

Speaking about the ambitious plan, Hridaynath Mangeshkar shared that they have acquired a large piece of land and aim to make it one of the biggest hospitals in Asia, leaving the rest to faith. The hospital may be named either “Lata-Asha Institute of Medical Sciences” or “Lata-Asha Mangeshkar Ayurvidhya Sansthan”.

Beyond healthcare, the family is also planning a museum that will celebrate their extraordinary musical journey. This space will not only preserve memories but also offer interactive learning experiences for music lovers and aspiring artists.

Meanwhile, Asha Bhosle p@ssed aw@y in Mumbai on Sunday at the age of 92 after battling a chest infection and fatigue. She was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital a day earlier and p@ssed aw@y due to multi-organ failure on April 12.

Her funeral was attended by several well-known personalities like Aamir Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Tabu and others. Fans and industry members also gathered at her residence in Casa Grande, Lower Parel, for final darshan, where she was honored with a Guard of Honour.

These two iconic sisters will always be missed by Indian music fans.
