From Aamir Khan To Aishwarya Rai, 7 Bollywood Celebs Who Made It To Time Magazine Cover
There are quite a few magazines and publications which are of international repute and every big celebrity or personality irrespective of the country wants to get featured in them.
Time magazine is one such international reputed magazine which is more than 100 years old and only very influential and powerful celebs are covered by it. Bollywood is one of the biggest movie industries of the world and it has given us many big stars who enjoy a huge fan following.

1. Parveen Babi:
The first time a Bollywood celeb got featured on the cover of Time magazine was in 1976 and she was beautiful late actress Parveen Babi who was dressed in black attire with string of white pearls. The cover’s title was “Asia’s Frenetic Film Scene: India’s Parveen Babi” and it was really a big thing for India at that time.
2. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan:
The second Bollywood celebrity who got featured on the cover of Time magazine was gorgeous actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who had won the Miss World title in 1994. Aishwarya got featured in 2003 issue of Time magazine, almost 26 years after Parveen Babi was featured. The title of the magazine was, “The New Face of Film: Aishwarya Rai leads the invasion as Bollywood goes global and gets hip”.
3. Shah Rukh Khan:
It didn’t take much time for Shah Rukh Khan to get featured on Time magazine as the King of Romance got featured in 2004 for Time’s “Asia’s Heroes: 20 under 40” issue. The cover also had a title which read, “A new generation is taking stage” and this certainly spoke of the fact that SRK was slowly conquering Bollywood.
4. Aamir Khan:
The perfectionist of Bollywood got featured on the Time magazine’s cover twice, first in 2012 and then in 2013. In the 2012 edition, Aamir Khan’s close up photo was featured with the title, “Khan’s Quest” and in 2013, the title was “The 100 Most Influential People In The World”.
5. Priyanka Chopra Jonas:
The Desi Girl of Bollywood got featured on the Time Magazine’s cover in the year 2016 for the issue which was about “The 100 Most Influential People”. She is currently an international actress who has featured in quite a few Hollywood movies and series.
6. Deepika Padukone:
The beautiful actress graced the Time magazine’s cover in 2023 and it was titled as, “The Global Star: Deepika Padukone is bringing the world to Bollywood”. Currently Deepika Padukone is getting praised for her latest release “Kalki 2898 AD” in which she has worked with some really big names of the industry such as Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Kaman Haasan. She is also pregnant at the moment and their (Deepika and Ranveer’s) baby is due in September.
7. Alia Bhatt:
The beautiful actress who has mesmerized us with her acting skills many times got featured on the cover of the Time magazine 2024 issue which mainly deals with “100 Most Influential People of 2024.” Last year, the actress also got the National Film Award for her wonderful performance in “Gangubai Kathiawadi”.
