The Indian cricketer Virat Kohli is one of the best cricketers of all times and despite being 35 years old, he is counted among the fittest cricketers of the world. Virat is appreciated not just for his cricketing skills but also for his love for fitness and it won’t be wrong to say that he is an inspiration for many youngsters irrespective of their professional fields.
Virat Kohli has been associated with Royal Challengers Bangalore since the inaugural edition of 2008 and recently, the former Zimbabwean cricketer Andy Flower joined RCB as the head coach from the IPL 2024. After that, he got to see Virat Kohli and notice his approach towards game from close quarters.
Andy Flower was a little surprised with the decision of Virat Kohli to take retirement from T20 format after winning the T20 World Cup 2024. Andy said that he hadn’t even thought about it and he was left surprised when Virat Kohli announced his retirement. Andy Flower said that he has utmost respect for Virat Kohli as a player and also for the manner in which he supports skipper Faf du Plessis, him (Flower) and director of cricket, MO Bopat.
Andy Flower further praised Virat Kohli for being a brilliant role medal and an outstanding professional sportsperson. Flower is of the opinion that Virat Kohli looks after himself pretty well and he is a disciplined person without being robotic.
The RCB head coach further talked about Virat Kohli’s nature and said that Kohli has a cheeky sense of humour, he laughs and have fun and mixes in gatherings very easily. He added that Virat Kohli is very approachable, has a good cricket brain and also has the ability to think out of the box.
Nobody can stop themselves from praising Virat Kohli, such a legendary cricketer and a wonderful human being he is!
