Axar Patel Reveals His Wife’s Big Surprise After T20WC Win, Says He’s Grateful For Her Support

The Indian cricketer Axar Patel is currently going through a good phase as he played an important role in India’s victory in the T20 World Cup 2024 and he has also been selected in the T20I and ODI teams for the Sri Lankan tour.

With this triumph, India ended the 11-year drought of the ICC trophy and also managed to win the second T20 World Cup title after 17 years.

Axar Patel was left heartbroken when he wasn’t able to play for the country in the ODI World Cup 2023 because of the injury. During an interview, he said that he was dejected when he got injured before the ODI World Cup 2023 but he has dealt with the injuries earlier as well and that experience helped him in coming out of the phase. He further said that he focused on training and rehab because he wanted to be 100 percent ready whenever the opportunity comes and he always desired to win an ICC trophy for India.

Axar Patel also revealed the big surprise that his wife gave him when he returned from Barbados, she made a rangoli which featured Axar’s photo kissing the T20 World Cup 2024 trophy.

He said that it is not that his wife Meha make rangolis daily and he had no clue of that surprise. Axar added that his wife just told him that she was busy with something for an activity and it took her two days for making that rangoli. Axar Patel called that rangoli a priceless gift as it depicted one of the most special moments of his life and it was drawn by the love of his life.

Axar is also thankful towards his wife for her support and understanding; he said that after parents, it is the support of the life partner that matters the most and Meha has played an important role in his success by supporting him whenever he took a step to make him a better cricketer. He stated that there have been times when he has stopped using his phone to focus on cricket and Meha always understood it and supported him.

Axar and Meha are certainly made for each other!
