Shah Rukh Khan Apologises To Aakash Chopra & Suresh Raina After KKR Crushes SRH, Here’s Why
The Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is a happy man as his IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders has become the first finalist of the IPL 2024 after defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad in the first qualifier which was played yesterday at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
Obviously SRK was on cloud nine after his team won the match and he also did the victory lap with his daughter Suhana Khan and son AbRam, during which he thanked and gave his love to his fans. However, there was a time when Shah Rukh Khan was seen apologizing to former Indian cricketers Aakash Chopra, Parthiv Patel and Suresh Raina.
Actually, these former Indian cricketers were doing live broadcast for the viewers and SRK was so engrossed in doing the victory lap that he accidently ran into their live broadcast. Shah Rukh immediately apologized but Aakash Chopra said that the legendary actor has made their day by accidently running into them.
The videos and photos of the incident are going viral and former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina who is known as Mr. IPL also shared photos with the caption, “It was wonderful catching up with the always humble @iamsrk today. Despite his superstar status, he maintains his down-to-earth demeanor, showcasing humility in every interaction. Congratulations to KKR for making it to the finals! #KKR”

As far as the match is concerned, SRH won the toss and decided to bat first but their opening pair that has played some great cricket in this IPL got out early. Mitchell Starc, the senior Aussie pacer who has been bought by KKR for around Rs. 25 crore justified his purchase by taking three wickets in this match including the wicket of opener Travis Head (0). Abhishek Sharma also got out for 3 runs and then Mitchell Starc dismissed Nitish Kumar Reddy (9 runs) and Shahbaz Ahmed (0) and there was a time when SRH was reeling at 39/4.
Rahul Tripathi (55 runs, 35 balls, 7 fours & 1 six) and Heinrich Klaasen (32 runs, 21 balls, 3 fours & 1 six) tried to control the damage but SRH batting lineup didn’t live upto the expectations and they could manage only 159 runs in 19.3 overs.
In response, KKR started in a steady manner as Rahmanullah Gurbaz (23 runs, 14 balls, 2 fours & 2 sixes) and Sunil Narine (21 runs, 16 balls, 4 fours) produced a partnership of 44 runs for the first wicket and after they both got out, Venkatesh Iyer (51 runs not out, 28 balls, 5 fours & 4 sixes) and skipper Shreyas Iyer (58 runs not out, 24 balls, 5 fours & 4 sixes) ensured that their team won the match.
KKR chased the target successfully in 13. 4 overs and Mitchell Starc was adjudged as the Player of the Match for his super bowling (3/34).
