DC was led by Axar Patel in this crucial clash as DC’s regular skipper Rishabh Pant has been banned for 1 match because of his team’s slow over rate for the third time in the tournament.

As far as the match is concerned, DC chose to bowl first after winning the toss and it did manage to dismiss the RCB skipper Faf du Plessis (6 runs) early in the match but Virat Kohli played a quick knock of 27 runs (13 balls, 1 four & 3 sixes). Rajat Patidar (52 runs, 32 balls, 3 fours & 3 sixes) once again played a super knock and he was well supported by Will Jacks (41 runs, 29 balls, 3 fours & 2 sixes) and Cameron Green (32 runs, 24 balls, 1 four & 2 sixes) and RCB put a competitive total of 187/9 on the score board.
