LSG Assistant Coach Opens Up On Animated Chat Between Sanjiv Goenka & KL Rahul During LSGvsSRH

The owner of the IPL team Lucknow Super Giants – Sanjiv Goenka made headlines some time back for all the wrong reasons as he was seen having an animated chat with the LSG skipper KL Rahul after his team suffered a humiliating defeat by 10 wickets against Sunrisers Hyderabad. What made matters worse was the fact that SRH carried out such a massive carnage that it chased the target of 166 successfully within 10 overs.

The behaviour of Sanjiv Goenka was slammed by the cricket experts, former cricketers and cricket fans as well and all of them believed that such discussions or conversations should be done inside the dressing room and not in the stadium as there are so many cameras over there.

After this incident, there were speculations that KL Rahul may get relieved from his duties of captaincy and he may not even play the remaining matches and the franchise will certainly release him before the auctions for the next IPL season.

However, the assistant coach of LSG, Lance Klusener has tried to put all the rumours to rest by opening up on this matter during a press conference. Lance Klusener says that he doesn’t see any problem in two cricket lovers having huge discussions and for them, it is just like having a storm in a tea cup. He adds that this is how the team gets better and it is definitely not a big thing for them.

LSG is having a tough time in this IPL as it is on the 7^th position with 6 wins in 12 matches and road to the play-offs seems to be a bouncy ride for them. The LSG skipper KL Rahul has failed in making any impact with the bat as well and his strike rate is an area of concern. Because of his poor performance in the IPL 2024, KL Rahul failed in finding a place for himself in India’s T20 World Cup squad.

When Lance Klusener was asked about KL Rahul’s poor performance, the former Proteas player supported the Indian cricketer by saying that he has a unique style of batting which has made him a fantastic player but this season has been a little tough for him as he didn’t get the much needed support from other batters. Lance further adds that in most of the matches, LSG kept losing wickets at regular intervals because of which KL Rahul had to build the innings and he was not able to kick when he wanted.

However, Lance Klusener is hopeful that KL Rahul and LSG will perform better in the upcoming couple of matches which are quite important in regard to the team’s entry in the play-offs.

As per the latest update, things seem to be getting settled now as Sanjiv Goenka invited KL Rahul at his place for dinner at the eve of LSG vs DC encounter and the photo is going viral now.
