Athiya Shetty Shares A Cryptic Post After Sanjiv Goenka’s Heated Discussion With KL Rahul

KL Rahul, the Indian cricketer, is certainly going through a tough phase as he hasn’t been able to make any impact with the bat in the ongoing IPL 2024, he got slammed for his captaincy as well and he wasn’t even selected in India’s T20 squad for the World Cup 2024.

What made matters worse was the incident that took place between him and LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka after the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad which LSG lost by 10 wickets. Sanjiv Goenka was not able to control his emotions after his team got crushed by SRH. In that match, LSG gave a target of 166 runs and SRH successfully chased it in within 10 overs.

Sanjiv Goenka was seen having animated chat with KL Rahul and it was quite clear that he was scolding the LSG skipper just like a boss scolds his employees for their poor performance. However, Sanjiv Goenka’s behaviour was heavily slammed by social media users and the former cricketers as such discussions are suited in closed rooms and not at a place where there are many cameras.

Though KL Rahul’s wife Athiya Shetty and her father Suniel Shetty who is a famous actor haven’t reacted to this matter, recently Athiya made a cryptic post. She shared the photo of Sun shining through the clouds with text, “the calm after the storm” written on it.

While there were speculations regarding KL Rahul’s association with LSG, on the eve of LSG’s match against Delhi Capitals, Sanjiv Goenka invited KL Rahul to his place for dinner and the photo from the dinner is going viral and many feel that things are back to normal now in the LSG camp.

LSG vs DC encounter will be crucial for both the teams as it is a must win match for both the teams if they want to enter the play-off round. The match is being played currently at Arun Jaitley Stadium and the DC skipper Rishabh Pant is also back in the team for this match after facing one match ban because of slow over-rate.
