While speaking to media, Luke Wright who is the national selector of England’s men team says that any series which they play against the Kiwis is closely fought and it will also give them a chance to check their preparation for the upcoming ICC ODI World Cup 2023. Luke Wright further adds that Ben Stokes’ return in England’s ODI squad will add more quality to the team as he is a match-winner and a good leader and he is quite sure that every English fan will be happy seeing Ben Stokes back in the ODI team.

The ICC ODI World Cup 2023 will be played in India from October 5 and the opening match will be played between England and New Zealand, the finalists of the 2019 World Cup.
