Artist Creates A Gold Miniature Model Of Chandrayaan-3 To Express Gratitude To ISRO Scientists
Chandrayaan-3 is India’s ambitious moon mission and tomorrow is a big day as Chandrayaan-3’s lunar Lander Vikram is going to do soft landing on moon tomorrow (23 August 2023).
In order to celebrate the big occasion, a miniature artist Mariappan who is basically from Coimbatore has created a 1.5 inch tall model of Chandrayaan-3 using 4gms of gold.
A video has been posted by the news agency ANI in which Mariappan is seen working on his model and adding a tiny Indian flag on his model.
ANI posted the video with the caption,

Mariappan told ANI that he has created this model for paying his gratitude to all the scientists and it has taken him 48 hrs to make it.
The tweet by ANI read, “Mariappan, the artist says, ‘I make miniature models using gold every time an important event takes place. This is a proud moment for every Indian. To express my gratitude to all the scientists involved in the Chandrayaan project, I designed this model using 4 grams of gold. It took me 48 hours to design this.’”
