The Indian fast-bowling star marked five years of marriage with sports presenter Sanjana Ganesan on Sunday. The couple, who got married on March 15, 2021, in a private ceremony, celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary by sharing heartfelt moments on social media.

While Jasprit Bumrah enjoyed the personal celebration, he has also been making headlines for his outstanding performance on the cricket field. The 30 years old pacer played a crucial role in India’s triumph in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. Representing the team led by Suryakumar Yadav, Bumrah appeared in eight matches and took 14 wickets, finishing as the joint-highest wicket-taker of the tournament.

His most memorable performance came in the final against New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on March 8. Bumrah delivered a sensational spell, taking four wickets for just 15 runs in four overs. India went on to win the match by massive 96 runs and Bumrah was named the Player of the Match for his match-winning performance.

After the international success, Bumrah will now turn his attention to the IPL 2026, where he will represent Mumbai Indians. The tournament will begin on March 28 with Royal Challengers Bengaluru facing Sunrisers Hyderabad at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Jasprit Bumrah is also approaching a major IPL milestone. With 183 wickets from 145 matches for Mumbai Indians, he now has the opportunity to become the first player to take 200 wickets for the franchise during the upcoming season.
