Siddhant Chaturvedi Has A Hilarious Take On Ananya Panday Mocking His ‘Struggle’ Comment

The trailer of Ananya Panday starrer “Call Me Bae” released recently and the audiences are loving it. In fact, fans are so impressed with Ananya’s acting that they are calling her Poo’s daughter. If you remember, Poo is the character played by Kareena Kapoor in Karan Johar’s “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham…” which released in 2001.

After the release of the “Call Me Bae” trailer, Siddhant Chaturvedi shared a humorous reaction. Posting the trailer on his Instagram story, Siddhant praised Ananya Panday’s performance, writing, “Ananya Panday, in your element and how! Collin D’Cunha, best wishes to the whole team! Looks super fun! PS: love the last part.” He tagged Prime Video India, Dharma Movies and Karan Johar in his post.

In the trailer, Ananya’s character says to a watchman, “Majburio se mai guzar rahi hu bhaiya” (I’m going through a lot of struggles). To this, the watchman replies, “Aapki majburiyaan jahan shuru hoti hain, wahaan tak pahunchna hi toh hamara sapna hai” (Where your struggles begin, reaching that point is our dream). Ananya’s character then humorously responds, “Where have I heard that one before?”

The dialogue in the “Call Me Bae” trailer bears a resemblance to a viral exchange between Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday from 2019. For those who might not be familiar, here’s some context. During the Newcomers Roundtable in 2019, Ananya, daughter of actor Chunky Panday, who was launched by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, shared her thoughts with Rajeev Masand. She mentioned that despite her father’s connections, her journey wasn’t as easy as people might think. She said, “I’ve always wanted to be an actor. This has been my dream as well, and I feel like just because my dad is an actor, I’m not going to say no to an opportunity to act, you know. My dad has never been in a Dharma film, he never went on Koffee With Karan. So, you know, it isn’t as easy as everyone says it is. Everyone has their own journey.”

However, Siddhant Chaturvedi made a memorable statement that stole the spotlight. He remarked, “I think everybody has their own struggle. Sabka struggle alag hota hai. Difference yahi hai ki jahaan humare sapne poore hote hain, wahan inka struggle shuru hota hai” (Everybody has their own struggle. The difference is where our dreams come true, their struggle begins).
