LinkedIn Deletes Youngest Software Engineer Kairan Quazis Account & Reason Will Make You Go WTF
Kairan Quazi, the 14 years old Bangladeshi-American youngster is certainly a child prodigy as he has been appointed by Elon Musk’s company SpaceX as software engineer which makes him the youngest software engineer of the world.
While he, his family and his followers were celebrating his achievement of getting a job in ‘one of the coolest companies of the world’ (as per Kairan), something has happened which has left many upset and angry.
Though Kairan has achieved many milestones at a very young age yet the business and employment focused social media platform LinkedIn has deleted his account as the platform has a condition as per which a person needs to be minimum 16 years old for making an account on LinkedIn.
Kairan took to his Instagram account and posted the notice that he got from LinkedIn and captioned it as, “Linkedin just sent me this notice that they are deleting my account because I’m not 16. This is the illogical, primitive nonsense that I face constantly. I can be qualified enough to land one of the most coveted engineering jobs in the world but not qualified enough to have access to a professional social media platform? LinkedIn showing everyone how regressive some tech company policies are.”
