Dhonis Old Video Disclosing Why He Chose Joginder & Not Harbhajan In WC Final Goes Viral

There is no denying the fact that MS Dhoni is one of the most successful captains of the Indian team and what makes him special is the cool manner in which he used to take big decisions on the field. MSD is the only skipper to win the three major ICC trophies – 2007 T20 World Cup, 2011 ODI World Cup and 2013 Champions Trophy and this is also one of the biggest reasons why he is loved so much by the Indian cricket fans.

While Mahi rarely uses social media platforms, his fans leave no chance of praising him on the social media networks especially when the Indian squad loses the chance of winning an ICC trophy. The Indians were pretty upset when Rohit Sharma-led Indian side lost the WTC final to Australia at the Oval, London by a huge margin of 209 runs and this led many cricket fans remember MS Dhoni under whom India won the inaugural T20 World Cup and also broke the 28-yr jinx by winning the ODI World Cup.

One such fan took to Twitter and posted, “No coach, no mentor, young boy’s, most of the senior player’s denied to take part. Never captained any single match before. This guy defeated prime Australia in semifinals and won a T20 World Cup in 48 day’s after becoming captain .”

This tweet didn’t go well with Harbhajan Singh who was also a part of the Indian T20 World Cup winning team and he responded with, “Yes when these matches were played this young boy was playing alone from India.. not the other 10 .. so alone he won the World Cup trophies .. irony when Australia or any other nation win the World Cup headlines says Australia or etc country won. But when India wins it’s said captain won it’s a team sports. Win together lose together”.

The majority of the Indian cricket lovers didn’t like the manner in which Bhajji responded, firstly because it was a fan who was praising his favourite cricketer and it was not Dhoni himself tweeting about himself. Secondly there were many who accepted that what Bhajji said is correct but he reacted in an aggressive manner which was not necessary.

The Indian team defeated Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2007 finals and Dhoni had two choices for the last over – Bhajji and Joginder Sharma and Dhoni went with Joginder Sharma; what happened after that, everybody knows.

A Twitter user posted an old video in which Dhoni talks about why he chose to go with Joginder Sharma rather than an experienced bowler Harbhajan Singh. While having a chat with Ravi Shastri, MSD stated, “Bhajji was not 100% sure. He wasn’t getting the Yorkers right. So I felt that instead of giving a bowler who was not 100% sure, I should give a bowler who wants to do well at an international level. Even if we would have lost the match, it does not matter to me. But the way Jogi bowled, it was really good.”

i am not opposed to what bhajji said but the way he has put his words are a lot sus. replying to a fan for no reason is just absurd as well. and i am not a huge dhoni fan but i love him for what he does and its not dhoni who asks for attention, its the fans' love.
