vivo Turned Hyderabad’s Night Sky Into a Giant Billboard For Its New Smartphones
If you happened to be around Hyderabad’s Hussain Sagar Lake recently, you might have spotted something unusual in the sky.
To launch its new flagship smartphones, the vivo X300 Ultra and X300 FE, vivo put up a massive flying LED screen above the lake, turning the city’s skyline into a giant showcase for its latest devices.
The Flying LED Experience featured cinematic visuals of both smartphones displayed on a drone-mounted screen, creating an aerial spectacle that blended technology, storytelling, and entertainment.
The activation was designed to spotlight the imaging capabilities of vivo’s latest flagship lineup, particularly the X300 Ultra, which has been developed in collaboration with ZEISS.
Positioned as vivo’s most advanced camera-focused smartphone yet, the X300 Ultra comes equipped with a ZEISS Triple Prime Lens System, support for multi-focal 4K 120fps 10-bit Log video recording, 60fps AF Tracking Snapshot, and dedicated 200 mm and 400 mm equivalent vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 accessories for long-range photography.
Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with OriginOS 6. The smartphone is priced at ₹1,59,999.
Alongside it, vivo also launched the X300 FE, a compact flagship aimed at users looking for premium performance and photography features in a smaller form factor.
The device features a 50MP ZEISS Main Camera, a 50MP ZEISS Telephoto Camera with up to 100x HyperZoom, ZEISS Multifocal Portraits, Street Photography Mode, and support for the vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and packs a 6500mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless FlashCharge support.
The vivo X300 FE starts at ₹79,999.
Both devices are now available via vivo India’s online store, Flipkart, Amazon, and retail outlets across the country.
With brands constantly looking for newer ways to grab attention, vivo’s flying LED showcase is certainly one of the more eye-catching smartphone launch activations we’ve seen recently.
