Virat Kohli Reacts As RCB Women Pull Off Record Chase To Win WPL Again, “Keeping The RCB Flag….”

Celebrations continued to pour in after Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s women’s team scripted another unforgettable chapter in the Women’s Premier League. Among the first to applaud the champions was Virat Kohli, who sent out a heartfelt message after RCB clinched their second WPL title with a thrilling six-wicket win over Delhi Capitals at the Kotambi Stadium on Thursday.

The final turned into a showcase of fearless batting, led by captain Smriti Mandhana. She looked completely in control from the moment she settled in, producing a stunning 87 off just 41 balls. Smriti Mandhana found the perfect partner in Georgia Voll, who played a powerful knock of 79 from 54 deliveries. Together, the pair added a massive 165 runs for the second wicket, taking the game away from Delhi and setting up a famous title triumph.

Earlier in the evening, Delhi Capitals had laid down a strong challenge. Captain Jemimah Rodrigues stepped up on the big stage with a brilliant half-century, while Chinelle Henry provided the late fireworks with a rapid 35 off just 15 balls. Their efforts helped Delhi post an imposing total of 203 for four. The innings was given early momentum by South African stars Laura Wolvaardt, who remained unbeaten on 44 off 25 balls, and Lizelle Lee, who scored 37 off 30 deliveries.

As RCB chased down the target in record fashion, Virat Kohli took to Instagram to share his pride.

The win added to an incredible run for the franchise, following their 2024 WPL title and the 2025 IPL crown. Former India captain Mithali Raj also joined the chorus of praise.
