Imad Wasim’s Ex-Wife Leaks Personal Chats, Urges Mohsin Naqvi & Shehbaz Sharif For Justice
A fresh controversy has erupted around Pakistan star all-rounder Imad Wasim after his former wife Sannia Ashfaq made serious allegations against him and appealed for justice for her children.
Sannia Ashfaq has accused Imad Wasim of forcing her to undergo an abortion in December 2023 in Lahore, an experience she says caused her deep physical and emotional trauma. She claims the decision was not hers and that she suffered greatly during the period without receiving any support. According to her, whenever she tried to speak up, she was silenced and had to face negative campaigns against her on social media.
Before making her allegations public, Sannia Ashfaq says she approached Mohsin Naqvi, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, seeking intervention. She later shared a series of emotional messages and statements online, explaining that she wants truth and justice rather than revenge.
In one of her posts, Sannia Ashfaq shared an image from the recent Pakistan Super League auction, where Islamabad United signed Imad Wasim for PKR 2.2 crore (approximately Rs 71.38 lakh). She questioned the franchise’s decision to sign him and called on fans to boycott the team, alleging infidelity and even accusing him of “m*rder” in connection with the abortion. She has claimed that she possesses video evidence to support her allegations.

In a video message, Sannia Ashfaq said she gathered courage to speak publicly because she wants justice for not only herself but also her children. She emphasised that she is seeking dignity and accountability, not revenge.
Alongside her appeal to Mohsin Naqvi, she also requested the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to take notice of the matter and ensure a proper investigation.
