Records Broken By Jasprit Bumrah In The Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25

3. Best Bowling Figures by an Indian Bowler in an Innings in Australia:

Bumrah’s 8/72 in the Perth Test is the best bowling performance by an Indian bowler in an innings on the Australian soil.

Other than this, Jasprit Bumrah was also adjudged as the Player of the Series for his superb performances, he took 32 wickets at an average of 13.06 which is quite impressive. Though Jasprit Bumrah didn’t bowl in the last innings of the Sydney test match due to back spasm, he took 2 four-fers and 3 five-wicket hauls in 9 innings. Jasprit Bumrah has taken 77 wickets in this edition of the WTC which is the highest by any Indian bowler and he is also India’s most successful bowler in SENA countries with 145 dismissals.
