The earning potential of top Indian cricketing stars is pretty high and few of them are even counted in the list of the richest sportspersons of the world but there is one cricketer who took retirement at the age of 22 and still he is currently the richest cricketer of not just India but the world.

While legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, etc. enjoy unparalleled fame and success, Aryaman Birla, a cricketer-turned-businessman, surpasses them in terms of wealth. With an extraordinary net worth of Rs 70,000 crore, Aryaman stands among India’s elite.

Aryaman Birla, son of Kumar Mangalam Birla (Aditya Birla Group chairman), began his journey in cricket with his debut in the 2017-18 Ranji Trophy for Madhya Pradesh and he was later bought by Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the IPL 2018 for Rs 30 lakh.

Aryaman played nine first-class matches, scoring 414 runs, including a century and a half-century. In List A cricket, he played four matches and scored 36 runs.

Despite a promising start, Aryaman’s cricket career was short-lived. After two seasons with Rajasthan Royals where he didn’t make it to the playing XI, he stepped away from the sport in 2019 due to personal reasons.

Aryaman’s cricket career came with its own set of struggles. Belonging to a prominent family brought unique pressures; however, he worked hard to create his own identity. Aryaman expressed pride in earning respect through his performances. In late 2019, Aryaman announced an indefinite sabbatical to prioritise his mental health and well-being, emphasising self-discovery and personal growth.

Born on July 9, 1997, Aryaman eventually shifted focus to the family business and joined hands with his sister, Ananya Birla. His transition marked a new chapter, combining entrepreneurial skill and legacy.

We wish all the best to Aryaman Birla for his future endeavours!
