Shah Rukh Khan Reveals Why He Is Not Doing Love Stories Like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai Now

Shah Rukh Khan, the Bollywood superstar is a versatile actor who has the capability to play any character with ease and he has proved it over the years by playing different roles in his illustrious career of more than 30 yrs.

While Shah Rukh Khan did leading roles with grey shades in the start of his career, soon he shifted to romantic movies and people started calling him the King of Romance. However, for the past few years, SRK has completely stopped doing romantic roles and in the last two movies, he played the character of an action hero.

Yesterday, Shah Rukh Khan’s one of the most successful movies, “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” (1998) which also starred Kajol and Rani Mukerji in important roles completed its 25 yrs and a special screening was organised by Karan Johar in order to celebrate the occasion.

Karan Johar made his debut as a director with “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” and it was super hit at the box-office. The special screening was organised in a PVR theatre for fans and it was also attended by Karan Johar, Rani Mukerji and Shah Rukh Khan.

During the event, Shah Rukh interacted with fans and answered some questions as well. When he was asked why he is not doing more romantic roles like he did in “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai”, SRK replied that he is not sure whether he will do romantic roles or not as he feels that he should leave them for young actors now.

Shah Rukh Khan also disclosed that Kajol was not able to attend the special screening because she is shooting outdoors.
