Till now, England has faced defeat in 2 matches out of the 3 matches that it has played and in the opinion of former England skipper Nasser Hussain, it is time to bring Ben Stokes back in the team as the England cricket team can’t afford to make a mistake now.

Nasser Hussain wrote in a column for a leading daily that the former skipper Ben Stokes should come back if he is fit. He also wrote that he hopes the team management hasn’t hold him back thinking it’s just Afghanistan.

He further wrote that there is no room for error left for the England cricket team and now it will need to win all the matches from here on.

Nasser Hussain also addressed the problem of who will be dropped if Ben Stokes is added into the team. The experts feel that it would be Harry Brook who will be dropped in order to make place for Ben Stokes but Nasser Hussain is of the opinion that skipper Jos Buttler should play both as it will result in a strong batting order with top six being Jonny Bairstow, Dawid Malan, Joe Root, Harry Brook, Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler and the team should include five best bowlers.

As per Nasser Hussain, one of the reasons behind England losing to Afghanistan is their lack of confidence but now they will need to be resilient and ruthless.

The match between England and Afghanistan was played on 15 October at Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi and England decided to bowl first after winning the toss.

Batting first, Afghanistan posted a total of 284 runs on the scoreboard which should not have been difficult to chase for England batters but they were not able to counter the disciplined bowling of Afghanistan bowlers and the whole team got out for 215 runs.

Indian cricket fans will also like to see Ben Stokes as he is quite a popular player in this part of the world.
