Shah Rukh Khan starrer 1998 released “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” is one of the most watched movies of the superstar and even the youngsters of today feel connected with it whenever they watch it. The flick which was directed by Karan Johar also starred Kajol, Anupam Kher and Rani Mukerji in important roles while Salman Khan played a cameo in the film.
The influence of this movie was huge on a generation and it seems as if the author Taylor Jenkins Reid has also got influenced by “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” as a Twitter user shared an excerpt from her novel Daisy Jones and The Six which gives an impression that it is inspired by the scene in which Anjali read a letter written by Tina (Rani Mukerji) in which Tina asked her to bring her father Rahul (Shah Rukh Khan) and his best friend Anjali (Kajol) together after she (Tina) departed from the world.
