BCCI Gives A Mouth-Shutting Reply To Cricket Australia’s “All Out For 36” Tweet Ahead Of BGT
The Cricket Australia invited wrath of the Indian cricket lovers after it posted a video of the Indian innings from the Adelaide test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2020-21. Soon the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took notice of it and gave mouthful to the Cricket Australia by responding with two tweets.
Talking about the Cricket Australia, it posted the video of India’s first innings from the Adelaide test match in which the Aussie bowlers tore apart the Indian bowling line-up and the hosts were bundled out for just 36 runs which is their lowest total ever. The video was shared with the caption, “All out for 36, The Border-Gavaskar Trophy starts on Thursday! #INDvAUS”

The Indian fans left no stone unturned in reminding the Cricket Australia that India not only won that series by 2-1 but it also breached their fortress of the Gabba where team Australia was invincible for 33 years.
Though India lost the Adelaide test match, it made a remarkable comeback in the Melbourne test match and leveled the series by winning the game. The third test match which was played at Sydney ended in a draw but the Aussies were sure of winning the fourth test match which was played at Gabba because they hadn’t lost any match over there in the last 33 years but the young Indian team shattered the Aussies’ dream of winning the series by defeating them in Gabba as well. What made this win more special was the fact that the Indian team was without their best test batsman and the then skipper Virat Kohli as he returned for the birth of his first baby girl after the first test match.
In response to the video posted by the Cricket Australia, the BCCI shared a tweet regarding the superb knock played by KL Rahul in the fourth innings of 2017 Dharamsala test match which helped the team in winning the match and the series as well. The link of the video of KL Rahul innings is given in the tweet:

In the second tweet, the BCCI posted the video link of the wonderful bowling performance of Ravindra Jadeja in 2017 Nagpur test match, Jadeja took 6 wickets in that match. Here is the tweet:

The first test match of the 4-match test series (BGT 2023) has started in Nagpur and Australia chose to bat first after winning the toss. The Indian bowlers have wrapped up the visitors for 177 runs in their first innings and Ravindra Jadeja made a great comeback by taking 5 wickets.
Till the time this article was written, India had scored 77/1 with Rohit Sharma (56) and Ravichandran Ashwin (0) at the crease. KL Rahul is the batter who got dismissed for 20 runs.
That was a good response from the BCCI. What do you say?
