The beautiful actress Mallika Sherawat who is considered as one of the hottest actresses of the industry, recently shared insights into the challenges she faced in Bollywood, particularly due to her bold on-screen persona. In a video that has gone viral on Reddit, Mallika revealed how some top actors assumed that her daring roles in films reflected her personal life, leading them to make inappropriate advances.

Mallika explained that many male actors would contact her late at night, expecting her to compromise off-screen in ways that aligned with her bold on-screen image. However, she made it clear that she wasn’t willing to give in to such expectations.

Mallika Sherawat stated, “Some heroes would call me and say ‘come and see me at night’. Aur main phone pe kehti thi, ‘Why should I come and see you at night? For what?’ They would say, ‘Aree tum itne bold roles kar leti ho screen pe, toh mere ko raat ko milne mein kya problem hai?’ The heroes were taking this kind of liberties with me. They were thinking ke jab yeh parde pe itne bold scenes karti hai, toh humare saath bhi bold ho sakti hai, humare saath bhi toh compromise kar sakti hai. I am not like that.”
