“Bollywood’s Plastic Actors Can’t Act But Get Big Projects,” Says Shatrughan Sinha’s Son Luv
A lot has been said and discussed about nepotism and its effects in Bollywood but while talking about nepotism, we talk only about those star kids who are performing well in the industry or who are getting movies despite not being able to give a hit on the box-office but the truth is that not every star kid gets everything easily.
Well, we are talking about Luv Sinha, the Bollywood actor whose father is a famous senior actor Shatrughan Sinha and his sister Sonakshi Sinha is also an actress who has acted in many movies including the films with A-list actors of the industry. Luv Sinha made his Bollywood debut in 2010 with “Sadiyaan” in which he worked with some big names of the industry such as Rishi Kapoor, Rekha and Hema Malini but the flick didn’t perform well at the box-office and Luv had to wait for 8 years for working in another film.
In 2018, Luv Sinha was seen in JP Dutta’s “Paltan” which also flopped on the box-office and since then, he has been missing from the big screen. However, it is being said that he would be seen next in big budget film “Gadar 2” that will star Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel and he must be hoping that this movie may boost his career.
Luv Sinha has also tried his luck in politics and fought Bihar state elections in 2020 but he lost the election to a BJP candidate.
Luv Sinha is quite active on the micro-blogging site Twitter and recently he made a statement about the Hindi film industry in which he said that here those actors get more opportunities who are as plastic as their surgeries and who can neither act nor are able to speak Hindi.
Here is what Luv tweeted, “I’m not too sure about our other film industries but the Hindi Film Industry gives opportunities to some actors who are as plastic as the surgeries they get. They can’t speak Hindi, can’t act but will continue to get work in big projects helmed by talented filmmakers.”

When a portal posted about this tweet of the actor, citing that he slams the casting culture of Bollywood, Luv responded with, “I didn’t ‘slam’ anything. All I did was share my perspective. Whether someone agrees or disagrees is up to them.”
