Rajkummar Rao Thinks Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya 2 May Release Before Stree 3 For This Reason

The Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao who is certainly one of finest actors of present times is enjoying the tremendous success of his latest film “Stree 2” which is a part of the Maddock supernatural universe, alongside films like “Bhediya” and “Munjya”.

Fans were quite thrilled to see Varun Dhawan’s character from “Bhediya” making a cameo in “Stree 2”, and now they want to know whether Stree 3 will hit the theatres first or “Bhediya 2” will be released first. Both “Stree 2” and “Bhediya” were directed by Amar Kaushik and have performed superbly at the box-office.

In a recent interview, Rajkummar Rao was asked which movie would be released first – “Stree 3” or “Bhediya 2”. While he initially talked about being unaware of the producers’ plans, he did suggest that “Bhediya 2” might come out next. Rajkummar pointed out that “Bhediya” has yet to receive a sequel, while “Stree 2” is already in theaters, leading him to believe that the sequel to Varun Dhawan’s horror comedy could hit the screens before the third installment of “Stree”. Released in 2022, “Bhediya” starred Varun Dhawan, Deepak Dobriyal, Kriti Sanon and Abhishek Banerjee.

When asked about the progress of “Stree 3”, Rajkummar revealed that director Amar Kaushik already has an idea in mind for the film. Rajkummar Rao said that the third part will surely be made and they will try to make it better and bigger than both the first two parts.

Additionally, during the trailer launch for “Stree 2” last month, producer Dinesh Vijan provided some insights into the third installment of the franchise. Dinesh said that this time, the gap will be less because they have already written “Stree 3”.

Beyond the success of “Stree 2”, Rajkummar Rao has had a stellar year with hits like “Srikanth” and “Mr. and Mrs. Mahi”, in which he starred opposite Alaya F and Janhvi Kapoor, respectively. Looking ahead, Rajkummar is gearing up for several intriguing projects. He recently surprised fans by unveiling the first poster of his upcoming film entitled “Maalik”. Besides “Maalik”, Rajkummar will also be seen in “Bhul Chuk Maaf” and “Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video”.
