Indian cake artist Prachi Dhabal Deb breaks her own records with 10 feet 01 inches edible palace

Prachi Dhabal Deb, an Indian cake artist, has created a stir in the culinary world by registering her name for the third time in the World Book of Records, London. The talented artist achieved this feat by creating the biggest vegan royal icing hand-piped structure, which was edible palace of Indian architecture. The structure had a length of 10 feet 01 inches, a height of 04 feet 07 inches, a width of 03 feet 08 inches, and weighed a total of 200 kilograms.

Prachi has previously held two world records for her gigantic cakes weighing 100 kgs each in the World Book of Records, London in the year 2022. She has also won the Femina Achievers of the Year award for her uniquely designed cakes. Her cake artistry was further honored with the Swadesh Samman from Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari.

Prachi is fondly referred to as the ‘Queen of Royal Icing’ for her unconventional cakes. Her recent record was recognized on 10th April 2023 by the World Book of Records, London, for the third time. The World Book of Records, London, honors and prizes individuals from various fields and encourages people worldwide for their unconventional achievements.

At the Bharat Leadership Awards 2021, Prachi received an award from the Governor of Maharashtra, Bhagat Singh Koshiyari, for her outstanding cakes. She was also a winner of the Royal Icing Award at the Cake Masters Award in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

“I am honored to have been considered in the World Book of Records. Creating unique cakes with royal icing is my passion, and to be able to take India’s name to the global platform has been nothing short of great pride. I am grateful to the entire cake community for their support and acknowledgement,” said Mrs. Prachi Dhabal Deb in a statement.

Born in Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh to Rajan Singh and Anuradha Singh in 1986, Prachi completed her school education from Dehradun and college degree from Kolkata. Currently based out of Pune, Maharashtra, the mother of one has also won the Cake Masters Award Winner ’19, Birmingham 2019. Prachi learned royal icing from England’s master baker Sir Eddie Spence MBE. Her incredible achievements are truly an inspiration to all aspiring cake artists worldwide.
