Harbhajan Reacts To Virat-Gambhir Ugly Spat, Accepts Being Ashamed For Slapping Sreesanth
The hottest topic of discussion among cricket fans at the moment is the ugly spat between former RCB skipper Virat Kohli and LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir which took place after the IPL match that was played on May 1 at the Ekana Sports Stadium, Lucknow.
Naveen-ul-Haq, the Afghani cricketer who is currently playing for LSG was the one with whom Virat Kohli had an altercation in the beginning but later on, Gautam Gambhir took it over and some unwanted and unpleasant scenes were witnessed from the stadium.
Many former cricketers have slammed both the cricketers – Gambhir and Kohli and told them that they are expected to behave in a better manner as the youngsters are watching them and they are idols for many.
The former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh who is also called Turbanator has also asked both the cricketers to leave ugly matters behind, resolve their issues and become friends. Bhajji was involved in the slapgate incident and he said in a YouTube video that he is ashamed of himself for what he did in 2008. At that time, S Sreesanth used to play for Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) and Harbhajan Singh used to play for Mumbai Indians and after a match between both the teams, Bhajji slapped Sreesanth on some issue.
Harbhajan Singh was banned for a season after that, however they both have kept the past behind and now they both were seen doing commentary together and advertisements as well.
Bhajji posted a video clip with the caption, “I Am Ashamed Of What I Did With Sreesanth In 2008. Virat Kohli Is A Legend, Should Not Get Involved In Such Things. Whatever Happened Between Virat And Gambhir Was Not Right For Cricket”.
