Man Comes Back After 11 Yrs For Paying Fee To The Doctor Who Operated Him For Free

When a commitment is made, a person needs to stick to it and fulfill it as it shows the character of the person who made the commitment.

The profession of a doctor is among the most respected professions of the world and doctors like Dr. Bhagwant Singh who works as a surgeon at Akal Hospital, Patiala, makes us respect the doctors more. 11 yrs back, Dr. Bhagwant Singh operated a person named Ram Sahai and removed his appendix as Ram Sahai was not able to endure the stomach pain. Ram Sahai wasn’t able to pay fees to Dr. Bhagwant Singh because of his poor financial condition and the latter also demanded nothing from the patient. Dr. Bhagwant Singh told Ram Sahai that he can pay him whenever he has money and over the years, Dr. Singh didn’t even remember anything about Ram Sahai or money.

Recently, Ram Sahai who is basically from Haridwar visited Patiala in order to pay the fees to Dr. Bhagwant Singh as he collected money over the years. Ram Sahai waited for one night as Dr. Singh was not in the town and when he came, he became emotional after knowing that Ram Sahai had come from far to pay his fees after 11 years.

A journalist posted the video on Twitter with the caption, “What a great example of honesty and humanity. 11 years ago a person was operated by a doctor for free and now the same person came from Haridwar to return the fee and waited for two days for the doctor to come. #Honesty #Humanity”

Ram Sahai said that he was indebted to Dr. Singh and removed that burden from his back, even when the doctor tried to return the money, Ram Sahai refused to do so.
