Cartoon Network Clears The Air As #RIPCartoonNetwork Trends On Twitter
The memories of childhood stay with us forever because it is certainly the best time of our lives and Cartoon Network is one channel which has played an important role in making the childhood of 90s kids, awesome.
However on 15th October, the generation of 90s and 2000s got a rude shock of their lives when they felt that Cartoon Network was going to end soon as the news of CN getting merged with Warner Bros Animation went viral. Many middle-aged people of present times have grown up while watching their favourite cartoon shows such as Tom & Jerry, Loony Tunes, The Powerpuff Girls, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Johnny Bravo, Ed, Edd n Eddy, Dexter’s Laboratory, Scooby-Doo, Ben 10, etc. on Cartoon Network and bidding goodbye to CN was a very tough job for them.
Soon #RIPCartoonNetwork started trending on the micro-blogging site, Twitter and people began expressing themselves in regard to it. While many expressed their unhappiness over this news especially when CN is going to turn 30 soon, some others thanked the network for making their childhood beautiful. Here are some selected reactions:

When the social media was flooded with reactions in this regard, the management of Cartoon Network had to make a tweet in order to clear the air. CN tweeted, “Y’all we’re not de*d, we’re just turning 30 To our fans: We’re not going anywhere. We have been and will always be your home for beloved, innovative cartoons More to come soon!”
