Finance To Mental Health, Fitness To Cooking, People List What Should Be Taught In School But Isn’t
The education system in India is pretty strong and schools play an important role in strengthening the education system but many times questions have been raised as to what should be taught in schools instead of what is being taught at the moment. Many people think that instead of teaching concepts like trigonometry, fluid mechanics, periodic table, etc. which are of no use to majority of us in our normal routine life, we should be taught some basic skills which not only enhance our personality but also help in living a good life.

It won’t be wrong to say that we waste a lot of our time and energy in learning those concepts which won’t be of any use after passing out from school and it is really sad that things are going on in this manner without someone even trying to bring a change in them.
Recently, an online user brought everyone’s attention in this direction by asking a question on the micro-blogging site Twitter which was, “What is something that should be taught in school, but isn’t?”

Soon people started reacting on this matter as some expressed the need of teaching accounts, yoga, economics, knowledge of stock market, fitness, cooking, gardening, mental health, dealing with failure, etc. while few are of the opinion that military training should be imparted to school students.

A lot of things. Critical Thinking, Real Life Skills, Vaad-Samvaad, Sex Ed, Actual Bharatiya Itihaas, Sanatani Literature pertaining to many scientific and spiritual subjects, Yoga and many more. Our Education System is a joke in terms of quality.

In Schools based in India…be it private or government….2 years of training in Army must be made compulsory…can be spread over a period of time…it must be done now URGENTLY if we want to have a nation of strong, healthy and fit individuals…leading to a strong and able country

Classes on stock market .. this should be introduce in 11th n 12th class as a compulsory subject.. One never know where life may take you in future if general awareness is there n basic concept is clear then it will help to some extent to face uncertainty of life
