Mohammed Siraj had a hattrick chance on the fifth delivery of his second over. Dhananjaya de Silva was the batter on strike, Siraj bowled a full-length delivery which was pushed to mid-on by Dhananjaya and the Indian pacer ran passionately to field the ball but eventually it went for a four.

The Indian openers Shubman Gill (27*) and Ishan Kishan (23*) chased the target successfully in just 6.1 overs and ensured that the Indian team won the match by 10 wickets.
