Rinku Singh Won Million Hearts By Helping Underprivileged Cricketers In The Best Possible Way

The KKR cricketer Rinku Singh is certainly an inspiration for many of us as he has proved that with hard-work, strong will and determination, a person can achieve success even in adverse conditions.

Rinku Singh belongs to a poor family, his father used to deliver cylinders and there was a time when he had to work as a sweeper in a coaching institute because of poor financial condition of his family. However, he never gave up and now he has become a household name, especially after he smashed 5 consecutive sixes in a match against Gujarat Titans and made his team win the match in the IPL 2023.

As Rinku Singh has seen poverty from very close, he knows how it feels when a player has to compromise his aspirations because of the lack of resources. According to the reports, when Rinku Singh was bought by KKR for Rs. 80 lakhs, the cricketer decided to donate an amount of Rs. 50 lakhs for the purpose of making a hostel in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. This hostel is being constructed for aspiring cricketers who want to make big in their career but are facing problems due to monetary constraints.

Rinku Singh’s childhood coach Masooduz-Zafar Amini told a news portal that Rinku always wanted to build a hostel for young cricketers who lack financial resources. Amini further said that as now Rinku is financially stable and sound, he decided to make his dream a reality.

The hostel is currently under construction as the work started three months back, there are 14 rooms in the hostel and each room will accommodate 4 trainees. There is a shed, pavilion and separate toilets as well and it will also have facility of canteen where the trainees will have food. Amini said that the total expenditure is around Rs. 50 lakh and it is being borne completely by Rinku Singh.

Amini manages the Aligarh Cricket School and Academy which is being made on the land of district association and the hostel is also being constructed on the same land.

Rinku’s elder brother Sonu is also very happy that he has pulled out the family from poverty and now he is also doing something to help poor cricketers.
