He is the third highest earning Indian cricketer after Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar. As per the Forbes India list, his estimated earning was Rs 63.7 crore and he was at the 8th spot in 2017.
Dhoni owns an apparel brand by the name of SEVEN and is also the co-owner of ISL team Chennayin FC football. Apart from this, he is also the co-owner of Hockey India League team Ranchi Rays.
Dhoni’s poor performance against England in ODIs gave a chance to critics to talk about his retirement and when he took ball from the umpire after the Headingley ODI, people thought that he was going to take retirement soon.
However later on, the captain Virat Kohli and coach Ravi Shastri defended the wicketkeeper batsman, saying that he is not going to hang up boots until he feels that it’s time for him to go.
