Pakistan Public Signs Petition To Remove Priyanka Chopra As UNICEF’s Goodwill Ambassador
Last 15 + days have been full of tension for both India and Pakistan. It all started with terrorist attacks on Pulwama and then India attacked terrorist base in Balakot, Pakistan with airstrikes. Soon it got uglier as both countries reached a point where war looked on cards.
Amidst all the tension between both countries and after India attempted airstrike on Pakistan based terrorists, Bollywood stars came all out and supported it. Like everyone even Priyanka Chopra celebrated and tweeted Jai Hind. She wrote-
Jai Hind #IndianArmedForces
Jai Hind #IndianArmedForces

However, Priyanka’s support for her own motherland India and Indian Army didn’t go well for people in Pakistan as they want UNICEF to remove her as the Goodwill Ambassador.
Pakistan public has alleged Priyanka for supporting war between India and Pakistan despite being UNICEF’s Goodwill Ambassador and hence they have started filing a petition which has already received more than 2000 signatures.
The petition which has been filed on Avaaz.org reads as – “War between two nuclear powers can only lead to destruction & death. As goodwill ambassador of UNICEF, Priyanka Chopra was supposed to stay neutral & peaceful but her tweet in favour of Indian arm forces after they invaded Pakistan airspace shows otherwise. She doesn’t deserve this title anymore.”
What are your thoughts about it?
