MS Dhoni Reveals How He Failed The Strategy Of Bangladeshi Players Because He Knew Bangla
The former Indian cricketer MS Dhoni is not just one of the most successful skippers of the Indian team but also one of the smartest cricketers of all times. He was known for his cool attitude and his ability to tackle critical situations in a calm manner. Mahi is the only skipper who has the unique record of winning three ICC trophies – 2007 T20 World Cup, 2011 ODI World Cup and 2013 Champions Trophy but his journey was also full of ups and downs.
We are quite sure that Dhoni fans must be aware of the fact that before playing for the country, Mahi was employed in the Indian Railways and recently he shared an interesting incident in which he revealed how it helped him in his cricketing career.
Currently, a video is going viral in which MS Dhoni narrated an incident from an India-Bangladesh match. Dhoni stated that he used to be pretty fluent in Bangla language as while working in Railways he was posted in Kharagpur (West Bengal). He added that he has become a little rusty now in regard to speaking in Bangla but he will be able to understand if someone speaks in Bangla.
Captain Cool revealed that during the match against Bangladesh, the opposition wicketkeeper and the bowler were making strategy for him while standing in front of him thinking that Dhoni would not get to understand anything but Dhoni knew their strategy which helped him in tackling them. Dhoni further said that it was after the match got over that the Bangladeshi cricketers came to know that he understands Bangla.
The video has been shared on an Instagram handle, Mahisakshivibes with the caption, “Mastermind Thala”. The video has been posted just a day ago but it has received more than 16 million likes.
