Saha Says He Does Not Wish To Expose The Journalist’s Name, Virender Sehwag Reacts
The Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Wriddhiman Saha is all over the social media networks for some time now after he was not even considered for the upcoming Sri Lanka tour. Earlier he made some interesting revelations regarding his conversations with BCCI/Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid and later on, he took to his Twitter handle where he posted a screenshot of his chat with a “respected” journalist who threatened him after Saha chose not to give an interview to him.
As soon as Wriddhiman Saha posted the screenshot, he got complete support of not just his teammates and people from cricket fraternity but of the Indian cricket lovers as well. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also noticed the incident as the treasurer Arun Dhumal stated that the board would talk to Wriddhiman Saha and look into the matter.
However, things will remain unsolved now because the 37 years old wicketkeeper-batsman is in no mood to reveal the name of the journalist who warned him for not giving an interview as Wriddhiman Saha feels that it can harm the reputation and career of that journalist.
He took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and made a series of tweets in which he accepted that he was hurt and he didn’t want anyone else to go through it because of which he decided to post the screenshot of the chat but he just can’t reveal the name of that journalist because it will not only harm him but also his family. However at the same time, Saha makes it clear that if something of this sort happens again, he will not remain silent. In the end, he also thanked all those who supported him in this situation.
His first tweet read, “1/3- I was hurt and offended. I thought not to tolerate such kind of behaviour and didn’t want anyone to go through these kind of bullying. I decided I will go out and expose the chat in public eye, but not his/her name”.

In the second tweet, Wriddhiman Saha wrote, “My nature isn’t such that I will harm anyone to the extent of ending someone’s career. So on grounds of humanity looking at his/her family, I am not exposing the name for the time being. But if any such repetition happens, I will not hold back.”

The former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag has reacted on the refusal of Saha and urged him to reveal the name so that someone else doesn’t go through all this.
Viru tweeted, “Dear Wriddhi, it’s not your nature to harm others and you are a wonderful guy. But to prevent such harm from happening to anyone else in the future, it’s important for you to name him. Gehri saans le, aur naam bol daal.” (Take a deep breath and tell the name).
