“Captain Ka Hukum Sarankhon Par,” Yuzi Reacts To Rohit Sharma’s Scolding, Deletes Tweet Later
The Indian cricket team has taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the 3-match ODI series against West Indies and it will certainly look forward to win the third and the final ODI in order to whitewash the series.
Yuzvendra Chahal, the Indian spinner, has performed quite well in whatever chances he has got in this series. The cricketer who is also known for his social media presence decided to have some fun by taking a jibe at the skipper Rohit Sharma. During the second ODI, Rohit Sharma was seen scolding Yuzvendra Chahal for not running properly, this is what was heard through the stump mic, “Ek kaam kar peeche jaa, idhar aa. Kya hua tereko bhaag kyu nahi raha hai theek se? Chal udhar bhaag” (Do a thing go back, come here. What happened to you? Why are you not running properly, go there).
This incident took place during the 45th over when Odean Smith and Alzarri Joseph were trying their best to chase the target of 238 for winning the match.
The video of the incident also went viral and it was loved by fans of both the cricketers as they share a strong bond with each other.
However Yuzi who has a pretty good sense of humour made up mind to have some fun as he posted, “Captain ka hukum sarankhon par” (Captain’s wish is my command) on the micro-blogging site Twitter but the tweet was deleted later.
The third ODI is being played at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, and after winning the toss, the Indian team decided to bat first. After opening the innings with Rishabh Pant in the second ODI, the Indian team management chose to open once again with the pair of Rohit Sharma (13) and Shikhar Dhawan (10) but they got out quite early and fans of Virat Kohli got disappointed once again as he got out for a duck. However, Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant batted well until the latter lost his wicket on the score of 56 runs. Suryakumar Yadav also got out early on the score of 6 and by the time this article was written, India was at 172/5 in around 34.4 overs with Shreyas Iyer (68) and Washington Sundar (0) on the crease.
Yuzi certainly knows how to keep atmosphere light. What do you say?
