Ajay Jadeja Slammed For His Nasty “Worried About Kohli’s Baby” Remark Post Virat Dropped A Catch
The skipper of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli is not only one of the best batsmen of the world but also one of the best fielders of the present times. However in the past few matches, he has not been in his best form as a fielder. The Indian team is presently on the tour to Australia where it has already played 3-match ODI series and 3-match T20 I series and soon India and Australia will face each other in the four test match series starting December 17.
While Australia won the ODI series by 2-1, the Indian team made a comeback and won the T20 series by 2-1. In the second T20I which was played at Sydney Cricket Ground, Virat Kohli dropped a very easy catch of Matthew Wade, though Virat ensured that his team got a wicket by throwing the ball quickly towards the wicketkeeper KL Rahul who removed the bails and Wade got run out.
The video of the whole incident was posted by Cricket Australia on its official Twitter account with the caption, “What a calamity!”

While Twitterati got enough fodder for memes, the former Indian cricketer Ajay Jadeja faced the wrath of netizens for making a comment in which he talked about Virat Kohli’s baby. Virat had dropped a similar catch in the first T20I as well and during the mid-innings break, Ajay Jadeja who is doing commentary said that he is not worried about team India but for the baby arriving. He adds that over the years, we have seen Virat taking some great catches and today he had time but lost his balance and dropped a simple catch. Jadeja also says that when a player starts dropping such simple catches, the ball looks like a bomb.
Quite obviously, the baby joke did not go well with netizens and they trolled Jadeja for his insensitive attitude. Here are some of the selected reactions:

Ajay Jadeja says he isn't worried for the Indian Team coz Virat is dropping catches, he is worried for the baby coming coz Virat might drop it. Is this a joke? Coz it's not funny.
Why do I have to listen to this?! My ears bleed. #AUSvIND

Baby jokes are not at all funny. Not at all. Very distasteful of Ajay Jadeja to say that during the Extraaa innings. Compare it to other things which make sense. You are not sitting with your buddies at a Tea stall. You are on national television. #Babyjokes #AUSvsIND #notfunny

@SGanguly99 Sir where's the reaction about #AjayJadeja 's comment on @imVkohli from commentary pannel. @BCCI taken action for @bhogleharsha Sir and @sanjaymanjrekar Sir very quickly. Take action against Ajay. What's the rubbish he's talking for a catch drop should be shame.

Mr. Ajay Jadeja, I see what u did there. And YES – "your own baby arriving in this world, is indeed more important than the Indian cricket". Kohli is trying to create an example and is showing how sexist you & previous generations have been in terms of raising kids

Ajay Jadeja just came up with a cheap comment on Kohli and his baby. Should be kicked out of the extraaa innings.

What??!! Ajay Jadeja mentioned on @imVkohli dropped catch "I'm not worried about the Indian team but about the baby who's coming on the way". Why are your commentators getting personal! Unprofessional!#AUSvsIND #indvsausT20

He's trying to say that Virat is giving more importance to the arrival of his baby than to the Indian cricket team. Ajay Jadeja tried to cover up his male chauvinism by trying humor that doesn't come to him at all…. I am thankful that I dont have to listen to Ajay J's crap

Virat will be returning to India after the first test match as he wants to be with his wife Anushka Sharma during the birth of their first kid in January and he has been granted paternity leave by the BCCI as well.
What do you think of the joke made by Ajay Jadeja?
