Journo Asked Radhe Maa To Express Her Views On MeToo. Her Reply Left Twitter In Splits
The entire nation is in a state of shock after the MeToo movement that is taking worse form with each passing day as we come across heinous offences committed by some really big names of various industries. There is no denying the fact that women’s chilling account of harassment that they faced in their professional lives trembles our souls from within and we can only imagine the pain that they had gone through during those tough times.
Various celebrities are expressing their opinion with regard to MeToo movement and are extending their support to the women who finally gathered courage to speak up about it.
Recently the self-styled Godwoman Radhe Maa was also asked to express her views in this connection but her reply was rather confusing and left Twitter in splits.
Here’s a loose translation of what the journalist asked,
“Women are facing atrocities in India and MeToo movement is trending. Many women are opening up about the harassment and brutalities that they encountered and many big names from Bollywood like Nana Patekar and Alok Nath have come to light. What will you say in this regard?”
This is what Radhe Maa replied,
“Yeh galat ho raha hai par main chahti hun ki jab atyaachaat ho, aurat usi time apna uthaaye.” (It’s wrong but I want that when a woman faces atrocities, she should raise or lift up her…. at that time only.)

Although it’s clear that Radhe Maa was intended to say that women should raise their voice or bring the matter into public’s knowledge at that time only but the way she tried to convey her views has made Twitter laugh.
