The Malayalam actress was recently compared with another actress Nazriya Nazim who made a big comeback with hit movie Koode. Priya said that the comparisons pained her because she has not yet got the chance to prove her acting skills. She said that people should wait to get her film released before judging her as an actress. Priya also said questioned that is it right to troll her just to please another actress?

There were reports that a commercial done by Priya for a chocolate brand has made losses. It was also said that the company has withdrawn it because her acting was bad. Talking about the criticism and trolling she received for the commercial, Priya said that when she contacted the company about it they said that the commercial has, in fact, earned them a great profit.
