Aadhar Finally Asked People Not To Disclose Their Number Publicly. Gets Badly Trolled By People
People are busy with Kiki challenge recently but apart from that, TRAI chief’s Aadhaar No challenge is also intensifying day by day.
TRAI chief RS Sharma had published his Aadhaar No. publicly on Twitter. He had further posed a challenge for people to harm him if possible. He had tweeted-
My Aadhaar number is 7621 7768 2740
Now I give this challenge to you: Show me one concrete example where you can do any harm to me!— RS Sharma (@rssharma3) July 28, 2018
After this tweet by him, the social media went berserk and people started sending him his personal details. This kind of proved the fact that sharing Aadhar No with people can be dangerous.
Later, TRAI chief’s daughter also received a threatening email and things started getting even more intense.
After so much has happened, the official Twitter handle of Aadhaar announced that people should not share their number publicly and it can be dangerous. In multiple tweets, they wrote-

People are advised to refrain from publicly putting their Aadhaar numbers on internet and social media and posing challenges to others. 1/n

1) Will you take action against @rssharma3 ?
2) Why is every tom, dick & harry asking for Aadhar ?
3) Will UIDAI list all the legitimate agencies who can request Aadhar as an identification document?
4) if my Aadhar information is illegally stored by anyone, can i claim damages?— Jacob (@Jacobji01) August 1, 2018
Now this is getting really confusing. What do you think?
