Man Tries To Show 9 To 5 Job In A Bad Light, Gets Slammed For Glorifying Startups
Many people have lost their jobs in the times of the coronavirus pandemic and this has given a lesson to those who have a job that they should not take their work or job lightly because now it will be very difficult, if not impossible, to find a new job. There is no denying the fact that owning a business and giving jobs to others is certainly great but it doesn’t give you the right to disrespect the 9-5 job goers.
In fact, there are many in this world who are pretty happy with their 9-5 job and love to see their salary being credited in their accounts at the end of the month. At one fell swoop, this doesn’t mean that they are losers or lazy people because it is their hard work which is helping their company in earning profits.
However, there have been instances when some proud entrepreneurs have made attempts to prove that people who try to own startups are superior to those who work in 9-5 jobs and while doing this, they forget that these startups also need some hard working 9-5 job goers to sustain and grow.
Recently, an entrepreneur took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and made an unpleasant remark regarding the 9-5 job. His tweet read, “If you can’t explain your startup idea in a single sentence, then you should continue doing 9 to 5.”
If you can't explain your startup idea in a single sentence, then you should continue doing 9 to 5.

This tweet didn’t go well with many Twitter users and they thought of teaching this guy a lesson. Soon the micro-blogging site was flooded with tweets in which netizens tried to teach him that there is nothing wrong with the 9-5 job and if everyone will be an entrepreneur, there will be no employees.
Here are some of the selected reactions:

It’s not necessary and this thought is extremely overrated. A founder should have clarity and so does every 9-6 employee to be successful.

There's nothing bad in doing 9-5.
Do what you love.
Startups fail.
Ideas have no value.
Execution is the key. https://t.co/A0Ult3UMzU

What’s wrong with a 9 to 5? I think we as a society need to stop talking down on hard-working people who have a 9 to 5 to support their families.

Some day I will want to understand why we have so much disdain for regular job goers. If all becomes start up founders who in God's name will work in them ?! https://t.co/jneQqxvOzt

But why? So If the explanation spills to 3 sentences does that mean startup is gonna fail? Lol

I think because it is so difficult to get a regular 9 to 5 job.

I don't agree with that statement.
It's important for an entrepreneur to explain their business ideas in short and simple words. Proper clarity about the business ideas and plans is what an entrepreneur requires ig.— Shravan Lad (@ShravanLad20) June 30, 2021

Hahaha. Imagine the scenario. Everyone has a startup but no one is an employer

An entrepreneur speaking like this…maybe just trying to be fancy…but wow…how naive!!
Its like spitting on so many inventors and fellow entrepreneurs.
Some of the greatest..movies..companies…inventions woulf have not existed if this was true.— Adeeb Akhyar (@AdeebAkhyar) July 2, 2021

Lmao, startup hustlers really be thinking they are their own boss when they have more stakeholders to answer to than any '9 to 5 loser' would. https://t.co/S1JnSHhNqG

If you can’t explain your startup idea in a single sentence, then you should explain it in more than one sentence https://t.co/65pboe1vNF
